Upon entering our office, our team will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition. You will then be taken on a brief tour of our facility to help you understand our mission and see our practice in action.
Next, you will have a pre-consultation with your doctor to discuss your concerns. Will then perform a series of tests to determine if you are a candidate for our services. This initial visit is designed to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine if we can help you. This inital evaluation is done at our expense. If it is determined that you may be a candidate for our services, we will discuss any fees necessary to move forward.
If you agree to move forward, will perform a complete chiropractic, orthopedic and neurologic examination to determine the source of your problem. Any other necessary infomation required to completely understand your condition will also be taken at this time.
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, determine levels of spinal decay and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed and results reviewed, your doctor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examination finding and X-rays, your doctor will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Drs. Brian & Kristina Shuffler will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.
At the conclusion of your report of findings, if we have decided to accept you as a new patient, we will begin your care. This may include spinal adjustments, passive and active physical therapy, and specific wellness workshops chosen by the doctor specifically for you. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
The doctor will suggest recommendations to incorporate outside of treatment. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. This is an ongoing process throughout your care. Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires a customized wellness plan. The purpose of our recommendations are for you to achieve optimal movement, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
